Why is it important that we show respect?

Why is it important that
we show respect?

It’s important to show respect because if you are at school, you will make more friends and they will like you as a friend and you won't be alone. Same as when you grow up, if you be respectful (not ask them for a fight) they will want to be your mate, and if you be respectful to your parents, they will more likely do what you want (NOT BE YOUR SLAVE) and will love you more and don't want to leave you. And of course, your teacher. Be respectful to your teacher by finishing your work and not clicking your tongue and definitely not talking back to them saying “awwwww I don’t want to!”

Year 5/6 camp

I am writing about what i did at camp, who was there, what was there when was it and where was.

Camp is when you go living outside (in like the forest not town/city,) with a tent (or make shelter with sticks/branches or any wood) well for our school camp we have tents, there was teachers, parent helpers yr 5+6’s it was last week Wednesday 9 am to Friday 3 pm at Pt England School on the feld we slept with 2/3/4 people it’s random, we have camp so we can have a break of school and learn how to live/get used to living outdoors

One of my highlights was doing kayaking because i like to get on a boat every now and then, it was kind of funny when Mr Burt (the leader) said for us to get in foot, bum, foot when i got inside a double i kind of liked it, but i really liked it when i got in a single kayak because i wouldn’t need to be lead around i could go anywhere around the boundary but in a double i didn’t go near the boundary/green point, sometimes when my paddle slashes into the sea bed when it comes out water splashes on me, so when you go kayaking be prepared to get wet

Another one of my highlights was killerzone, because when we were going across the platforms to the killerzone (the place you throw water balloons at the other team,) and then go on the ski’s it was hard because sometimes someone doesn’t do it, you then go under the cave (not actual cave) then go to the catapult (of course not real,) then you have to get all the water out of one bucket into another one then we had to go back on the ski’s then get to our headquarters and raise our flag.

I enormously thank all the teachers, parent helpers, our leaders, Mr Burt, Mr Somerville, and Mr Goodwin, my team for having me with them and all the yr 5’s and 6’s everyone made this camp a success

I learnt that you don’t need a house to have shelter you could have a tent but it would be much warmer more comfortable and you h in a house every student should do this so everyone will know what to do if you get lost in like the woods, so that’s all from me BYEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
