Maths Measurement, Estimation and Reading Scales
For Maths this week we were once again looking at measurement and estimations for some measurements and what they would be closer to based on what you think it would be and ordering some measurements from 4 largest to 1 smallest or 4 longest to 1 shortest and once again estimating how long or heavy something is and then we kind of played a game where we would get a score for the questions correct and there were 6 levels based on 6 types of scale.

Kia ora Kalani,
ReplyDeleteEstimation is a tricky skill to get right when dealing with different attributes (length, mass and volume). Check the notes on your slideshow - you are definitely an expert at reading scales, dials and meters - well done! Take some time on e-ako to get some extra Measurement practice!
