Olympics: Should the Olympics have taken place?
The Olympic games are a monumental event for all countries. Many athletes from around the world compete and represent their countries with their humbleness and sportsmanship in this world wide event. Whilst this would’ve been to do in previous years, the circumstances that we suffer from such as Covid 19 as well as being in a current quarantine. While vaccines have been administered to the public different vaccines have different capabilities and its effectiveness is varied throughout the different countries. Many athletes within the Olympics have been tested positive for Covid. Since July the first more than 75 people who were associated with the Olympics have been tested positive for Covid and that was before the Olympics even started. Coco Gauff, an american tennis player, although fully vaccinated, was tested positive for Covid 19 despite this fact. Also with contestants being so close to each other in certain sports events this can escalate the Covid spread even more. The Olympics although vaccinating contestants didn’t account for the transport taken such as if an athlete took a taxi to get to the Olympics or if they were on a bus. Those people on those taxis or buses could’ve spread the virus and no one would’ve known until it was too late. Some Olympic athletes choose to not be vaccinated anyway which leads them even more vulnerable than those who were vaccinated. This also allows for athletes of other countries to spread Covid-19 to other athletes of other countries that will take it back to their home country and spread it there.

Speech: Healthy Lunches Matter.
Yesterday we were presenting our speeches and finishing them off, I was a bit nervous about presenting my speech but I managed to do my speech and this was what it turned out like.
Kia Ora my name is Kalani and this is my speech about Healthy Lunches.
As much as you want to bring & eat foods at school like, Macca’s, KFC, Chocolaté, Bakery food, and other sweet and tasty things, they aren’t actually great when it comes to the nutritional value of those fatty and sugary foods, but there are other foods that are healthy and full of nutrition that you should pack your lunch with more often.
There are foods like Fiber Bars, Muesli Bars, Fruit/Vegetables and a Healthy Sandwich but try to make your own sandwich as store bought sandwiches are not always as healthy as your own. You can also fill your lunchbox with snacks like, Lesnak, Snack-Sized Chip Packets, 2-3 Small Biscuits, and any other suitable snacks that are low in fat & sugar but still minimize intake of these snacks as they don’t have the best nutrition but aren’t as bad as the ones mentioned at the top
Try to avoid foods that are high in fat and sugar and eat more of the foods that are mentioned above at school as you are put at risk of diseases like diabetes, and blood clotting.

FiaFia Event Review
Yesterday on Thursday 3rd of June at 5:30 we had our school wide FiaFia, I was in the Senior Kapa Haka Group and was the first group on stage. My favourite group was either The Tongan Boys/Girls or The Samoan Group because the Tongan Boys were really fast like they were striking fear in your eyes and they were really loud and the Tongan Girls and the Samoan Group because they were nice and slow allowing you to understand the moves they were doing. My favorite part was doing the Haka, as shy I was and afraid of performing in front of large audiences I really enjoyed performing it. Something I learned was how it felt to perform in front a large audience of over 2000 people. If I had another chance to do FiaFia I would go into the Samoan Group as i've never done a siva samoa before and I would want to try and do it once.
