David Attenborough Documentary Coastal Seas

- 90 percent of marine animals live in coastal waters because sunlight reaches the sea floor.
- The documentary we watched was filmed in Everglades National Park in Florida, USA.
- The lush meadows of the park support the marine life.
- The Giant Trevally and Stingray are extremely efficient (good) hunters.
- Stingrays hunt for their prey that hide in the seagrass.
- There is a lot of food for the sea creatures, and for humans in the coastal waters.
- The Bottlenose Dolphin has a special way of hunting shoals of mullet. They create a circle around the fish and flick up the mud which makes the water murky -  the mullet then get confused and jump up in the air, making it easy for the dolphins to catch the mullet.
-Coral reefs make up less than 1% of all the marine species that live in the ocean.
-Coral reefs are missing an important member of the community - Sharks!
-Shark numbers have been dramatically reduced due to overfishing.
-Overfishing has reduced the shark population by 90%

What do I like about New Zealand?

What do I like about New Zealand you may ask, well it’s not as polluted as most countries and mostly it’s not too hot, well it does get a bit chilly sometimes here in New Zealand but we have heaters and campfires so not to hard. What else you might ask? Well why not L&P one of my two favorites, other is coke but let’s not talk about that back to L&P, it was made in paeroa in well New Zealand made with lemon and carbonated water and it’s great, the taste of New Zealand. Allright, all right i'll tell you more… ah ha Tip Top why not Tip Top you might be “why Tip Top”? Well the flavors of ice cream is why! The flavors are like they’re endless and some of them are for New Zealanders jelly tip, goody goody gum drops and hokey pokey well that’s all I can think of im sure there are much more for sure right? Okay now for pies wow talking a lot about food well mince & cheese pies here are mind blowing they are great go to australia don’t eat their pies and don’t tell an australian that pavlova is made in New Zealand you might get in an argument. Now forests peaceful quiet forests birds singing not like U.S.A cities everywhere New Zealand forests and not as much cities.
